The reason is maybe you use the flashtool.

I updated my z2 though wifi download, it is simple and easy, it just has to keep a cool environment when processing the software update, DURING the update will rise some heat and it is normal, as I know how to handle.

I have to mention that I dropped my Z2 before updating the MM software to my Z2, yes I have restarted the phone for the run and the update is WORTH and PLENTY!

After updating it is very nice! If you activated the Battery Saver the UI will respond as fast as lighting without "animate" (no butter between the page changing), exclude the home screen still has the animate while swiping to left right.

Can somebody with D6653 variant of Xperia Z3, tell me the latest build lollipop that you have in your phone. Mine is 23.4.A.1.232, but the online support page shows 23.4.A.1.264. I could not find any new updates or via the Xperia Companion.

i updated to 6.0.1 my xperia z3 d5803 via flashtool, but i dont like it dont feel smooth as lollipop 5.1.1 i like that you can uninstall several apps google inclusions, but the pics are the same IMO, so i return to 5.1.1 hope to come back to 6.0.1

I have Sony Z3 Compact (D5803) in the middle east, and I still didn't get any updates!

I haven't gotten the update and Sony doesn't show on the website. It says the latest version 5.1.1?

You make a good point about the doze feature.

I don't know why every manufacturer isn't taking advantage of the accelerometer and other sensors to implement sleep / wake features to save as much power as possible.

The camera focus is faster than previous version. We can swipe down the home page to launch a suggested apps page. We can change the UI pane to the transition animate effects. New icon for small apps. Added a do not disturb toggle in the notification. The simple home becomes more beautiful and still has a clear and user friendly UI, I really love it!
